The Spectrum SunWheel is officially spinning! 🎡✨
We celebrated the Grand Opening of Irvine Spectrum Center’s newest addition to Irvine’s skyline, and if you haven’t taken a ride yet, here’s everything you need to know before you go.
☀️ The Spectrum SunWheel stands 132 feet tall, 23 feet taller than the former Giant Wheel it replaced.
🎡 Each spacious gondola fits up to six guests and features music for the ride, plus the wheel’s new smart LED light display puts on a show after the sun goes down.
⏰ HOURS
Sunday–Thursday: 10AM–9PM
Friday–Saturday: 10AM–10PM

Purchase tickets online or visit a Guest Services kiosk near the Carousel or SunWheel.
📍 LOCATION
You’ll find the Spectrum SunWheel in the same location as the former Giant Wheel at Irvine Spectrum Center.
And here’s a tip for families: join us for Toddlers & Tunes on the first Tuesday of every month from 10AM–12PM for complimentary SunWheel and Carousel rides, kid-friendly games, an interactive DJ and more.*
