Kid’s Table celebrates the flavors that win over our youngest foodies. Featuring dining experiences that are kid-approved and parent-appreciated, we are bringing fun and flavor to the table for the little ones. For our Spring Edition, we sat down with Lizzie, Dominic, and Gabriella to get the inside scoop on their favorite bites across Irvine.
THE CHURRASCO EXPERIENCE

FOGO DE CHÃO
Irvine Spectrum Center
623 Spectrum Center Dr., Irvine, CA 92618
WHAT TO ORDER: The full Churrasco Experience. This includes continuous tableside carving of signature Brazilian cuts, the fresh Market Table, and traditional Brazilian side dishes.
“I chose Fogo de Chão because it connects me to my origins in Brazil and reminds me of my grandpa’s cooking. All the meats have really good seasoning and they are perfectly salted. They are not dry so they have good meat juice, if you like that stuff. And if you don’t, they have other things, like they have some salads that you can get as well. They also have these things called pão de queijo. So it’s bread with some cheese inside. It’s the best kind of cheese bread you can get.” – Lizzie, 6th Grade
TAGLIATELLE ALLA BOLOGNESE

OLIVER’S TRATTORIA
Quail Hill Shopping Center
6511 Quail Hill Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92603
WHAT TO ORDER: Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. This dish features silky, homemade pasta tossed in a traditional meat sauce and finished with aged Parmigiano Reggiano.
“Well, the bolognese is very tasty at Oliver’s and it tastes pretty close to the ones we ate in Italy. I like bolognese because meat sauce is better than plain marinara. And I like that it’s extra saucy at Oliver’s and the noodles are really long so I can get a lot of food in one bite.” – Dominic, 4th Grade
BREAKFAST BURRITO

EVERYDAY EATERY
Sand Canyon Plaza
6634 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine, CA 92618
WHAT TO ORDER: The Breakfast Burrito. A hearty combination of scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, Monterey Jack cheese, and chipotle aioli, with your choice of applewood smoked bacon, turkey sausage, or chipotle chicken. It is served with house-made roasted salsa.
“I like the breakfast burrito at Everyday Eatery because it has everything I like to eat for breakfast in one cylinder: eggs, potatoes and bacon. I love bacon so much that I ask for an extra side of it. I love the hot cocoa at Everyday Eatery because they put cool designs on it like the grownups get on their coffee. I like hot cocoa with my breakfast if it’s a cold day, but orange juice if it’s a warm day.” – Dominic, 4th Grade
GREEN MILK TEA WITH BOBA

CHA FOR TEA
Woodbridge Village Center
4740 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA 92604
CHA FOR TEA
University Center
4187 Campus Drive, M-173, Irvine, CA 92612
WHAT TO ORDER: The Green Milk Tea with Boba
“My mom takes me to CHA for Tea after school sometimes and my friend Isabella will meet me there. We love boba! There’s one close to my school (at University Center) and at the other CHA for Tea (Woodbridge Village Center) we can play at the park or go to the movies.” – Gabriella, 4th Grade
