ALICE + OLIVIA and AG set to open at Fashion Island

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Two established womenswear brands, Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet and AG, are set to arrive at Fashion Island.

“Both Alice + Olivia and AG are going to be a perfect fit here with Fashion Island’s collection of fashion-forward brands,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer of Irvine Company Retail Properties.

Known for its feminine and whimsical apparel, Orange County’s first Alice + Olivia boutique will house the design label’s complete product offering, including ready-to-wear collections, gowns, shoes and accessories. It will be the brand’s 35^th store in the U.S.

“We love the energy and style of the women in Newport Beach and we are thrilled to continue to expand our fashion community in California,” said Stacey Bendet, CEO and creative director of Alice + Olivia.

Slated to open Nov. 18, the 2,000-square-foot Alice + Olivia will be a colorful pop-up, featuring clean décor paired with one-of-a-kind vintage pieces and artwork. After a brief hiatus at the beginning of 2017, the store will re-open in its permanent space, continuing the tradition of creating an intimate and elevated shopping experience.

Opening next door to Alice + Olivia in spring 2017 will be AG, the popular lifestyle and denim brand. At 2,000 square feet, the Fashion Island store will be AG’s flagship location in Orange County.

“We have a loyal and fashionable customer base in Orange County, and we are incredibly excited that Fashion Island will be home to our new flagship store within the area,” said Sid Dey, director of retail for AG. “The space will have the same look and feel as our Beverly Hills flagship store, with custom millwork and fixtures created and manufactured by our in house store design team at AG.”

The Newport Beach store will feature over 350 unique styles for men and women and will also include AG’s Green Label collection.

Alice + Olivia is at 571 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach; AG is at 573 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.  Both are across from Bloomingdale’s.
